MMC CAST students, faculty, staff, alumni, administrators, hospital employee and off-campus researchers may use the library upon presentation of a valid identification card.
Off-campus researchers are requested to observe the following:
· Present a valid ID and a referral letter from the Chief Librarian of your school
· Private researcher should present a current company / government ID and a request letter.
· The library does not entertain alumni and off-campus researchers during examination periods and semestral break.
All library users are requested to observe proper dress code. Persons wearing the following will not be allowed inside the library; short skirt / dress (more than 3 in. above the kneecap), ripped, torn or ragged clothing, walking shorts, shorts, plunging neckline, see-through clothing and visible undergarments, spaghetti strap / tube / halter / razor back / tank tops, rubber slippers and any clothing similar to the above mentioned dresses.
The library is a place for study and research. Your cooperation to maintain a quiet, orderly and clean environment is very much appreciated.
All library users are requested to observe the following:
· Observe silence at all times
· Always register on the Library Attendance System provided near the entrance/ exit door when using the library.
· All students must wear their currently validated ID upon entry
· Students in not proper uniform is not allowed to enter and use the library
· Writing and mutilation of books or any library property is strictly prohibited, anyone found guilty will be subject for disciplinary action
· Courtesy must be practiced at all times
· Avoid eating, drinking, loitering, sleeping and by standing in the library
· Laptop is allowed to use in the library provided it is battery operated, no playing of video games that can cause distraction to other researchers
· Mobile phones should be in the silent mode while inside the library, all phone calls must be answered outside
· All bags must be deposit at the Baggage Area before entering the library. Do not leave any loses within the library premises.
· Always arrange used tables and chairs before leaving
· MMC – CAST Librarians has the authority to implement rules and regulations and other policies to discipline researchers
· Librarians have all the rights to suspend library privileges for those students who habitually violate the policies.
