1973 - She finished her master's degree in nursing at the University of the Philippines.
1973-1976 - She worked as a nursing supervisor at the Philippine General Hospital.
She returned in 1979 and became an instructor at the University of the Philippines College of Nursing.
1987 - She conducted a study entitled "Categorization of Nursing Activities as Observed in Medical-Surgical Ward Units in Selected Government and Private Hospitals in Manila."
