GRADING IN ELA

Below is the breakdown of the ELA gradebook, where you will find how each category is weighted .  This grading is consistent among  all fifth grade teachers. 

Comprehension & Focus Skills- 40%

Writing - 30%

Grammar- 10%

Spelling- 10%

Homework/Classwork- 10%
