Homework is posted in our Google Classroom Monday through Thursday, around 4:00pm. Students are not responsible for writing down homework assignments, but instead, they are responsible for logging into our Google Classroom each evening, checking the "HOMEWORK/ANNOUNCEMENTS" page, completing daily assignments and being aware of "Upcoming Dates," and then clicking the "MARK AS DONE" button when all assignments are completed daily.
Homework is typically given each evening and is a review/reinforcement of the concepts presented in class. Your child should expect some form of Language Arts and Mathematics homework Monday through Thursday. Your child should also practice addition/subtraction/multiplication facts, as well as read a minimum of 15 minutes each night. Science, Social Studies, and Health will require homework less consistently.
Parents are encouraged to check our "Homework/Announcements" page in the Google Classroom daily. Please also ensure that you are signed up for our classroom Remind App, as information is communicated through this app regularly.
