IRP Due Dates by Marking Period
Requirements:
📖read a minimum of 2 books (1st MP & 4th MO), and 3 books (2nd-3rd MP)
📖complete a google form for each book
📖For the 20 Book Challenge, students first need to read a book within their lexile score.
📖After a book is read:
Students will complete a Google form on the book posted on Google Classroom.
Students will turn in on Google Classroom for review by the teacher.
📖Please note that the 20 Book Challenge (IRP) due dates are more flexible in the 1st and 2nd marking periods. The students are working toward learning time management and planning accordingly. By the 3rd and 4th marking periods, the students are expected to meet the due dates.
Additional Information:
📖students are encouraged to achieve the 20 Book Challenge by surpassing the requirement (per marking period) by reading above and beyond.
📖Extra credit is earned for additional books, up to 2 bonus points per extra book
📖IRP Google Forms are counted as classwork/homework
ELA Classwork and Homework Policy~
~Students are graded points based on the assignment. The assignments can be turned in for full credit up until the unit has been tested. Once the unit test has been given no additional credit can be earned. As the year progresses, late classwork/homework will given partial credit, and by the 4th MP if late no credit will be given.
