IRP Due Dates by Marking Period

Requirements

📖read a minimum of 3 books per marking period

📖complete an activity per book from the Choice Board

📖Accelerated Reader Quiz is a choice: minimum score of 70%

📖For the 20 Book Challenge, students first need to read a book within their ZPD.  

📖After a book is read: 

📖Please note that in the 1st and 2nd marking periods the due dates are more flexible.  The students are working toward learning time management and planning accordingly.  By the 3rd and 4th marking periods, the students are expected to mee the due dates.


Additional Information: 

📖students are encouraged to achieve the 20 Book Challenge by surpassing the requirement (per marking period)  reading 4 or more books

📖Extra credit is earned for additional books, up to 2 bonus points (bonus points are earned in homework/classwork) 

📖IRP Choice Boards are counted as a comprehension grade


ELA Classwork and Homework Policy~

~Students are graded points based on the assignment.  The assignments can be turned in for full credit up until the unit has been tested.  Once the unit test has been given no additional credit can be earn.
