The main focuses of Metal, Technology and Design are engineering, product designing, forces on an object, sheet metal production, tool identification and usage, problem solving, measuring, safety, and reinforcement of S.T.E.M skills.
Working in small groups students will be designing, modeling, building and testing a bridge. Throughout the project students will be required to complete a number of different rough sketches, a scale drawing, a cardboard model and a final project which involves building their bridge out of metal and testing it for strength. All graded student assignments will be added to PowerSchool as we get to them.
