Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
Can I I bring a guest to Prom?
Yes, of course! If bringing an MHS student in 11th or 12th grade, students just buy a ticket as normal. If bringing a student from another school or a recent high school graduate, please fill out the guest form on the Prom homepage.
Can I drive to Prom?
Yes! There are a few parking lots available for students to park in. You can also be dropped off at the main entrance. Limos are allowed.
Can I leave early?
Yes, if administration is provided with a note, then you may leave early. If not, students are allowed to leave at 9:30PM. Prom is over at 10:00PM.
Can I come late?
No, all students need to be checked in by 7:00PM. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact administration prior to the event.
What do I wear?
Formal attire
Is there food?
Dinner is provided buffet style. If you have any food allergies, please see Mrs. Emery or Mrs. Dunbar prior to the event.
Am I allowed to bring in a bag?
No, small clutches/purses are the only bags allowed. All bags are inspected upon arrival.
What do I do if I need to bring medication?
Please bring any medication or medical necessities to the Nurses' office prior to Prom.
Am I able to change my date?
Yes, please see Mrs. Emery and Mrs. Dunbar if you need to change your date. See below: it needs to be done by the last date of ticket purchase.
When is the last time I can buy a ticket?
Final numbers are due to the Sheraton on Friday 4/7 at 3:00PM. There are NO changes after this date.
How much is a Prom ticket?
$90 per Prom ticket 3/20-3/24, $100 per ticket starting after 3:00PM on 3/24 until 4/7
What do I need to bring to Prom?
Your school ID and yourself! That's it!
