Who is Mr. Engle?

Hi, I’m Scott. I’m a fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade instructional coach for the Methacton School District.  I am also a dad, a do-it-yourselfer in remodeling my home, a landscaper, golfer, bowler, baseball coach, beach-lover, photographer, Phillies fanatic, music lover, book-loving, science nerd, and the list goes on and on... I believe that enthusiasm is infectious, and I hope that you find Skyview and Arcola's classrooms fun, interesting, and a place you love to come to every day!

They say your favorite class is the one that you like the most. And your best class is the one where you learn the most. I want all of our classes to be both and it is my goal to help coach teachers and students alike to make this happen. Every. Single. Day. I am hopeful that by the end of the year you will feel like our schools are amazing places to learn and will love waking up every day to come to school, learn, grow, and succeed!

Ask either of my kids and they will tell you that I say the same thing at school drop-off each morning.  Ever since the very first time they could comprehend what I meant at daycare they have heard it, and I wish the same for you each and every day of your life: Be kind, have fun, and learn something new!
