Deleting Large Files From Your Google Drive
On January 23rd, 2023, Google changed their storage policy for school districts, revoking the previous “Unlimited Storage” policy, and instead assigning each district a limit based on the number of users. In order to ensure MISD does not exceed this limit and lose access to Google services (Google Classroom, Google Drive, Google Docs, etc.), we are limiting staff to 50GB of Google Drive storage and students to 25GB of storage.
To delete large files, follow these steps:
Drive > Storage > Sort by Storage Used > Move Item(s) to Trash
