Introduction: -
MES’s IMCC after successfully conducting the five batches; announces the seventh batch of "SET/NET Workshop for Library Science Professionals” from the month of Jan 2016 to December 2019. Enthusiasm and quest for knowledge of earlier batches has encouraged us to continue with our efforts of providing workshop for SET/NET examinations for the benefit of the library science profession. The candidates registering not only from Pune but also from all over Maharashtra such as Mumbai, Ambejogai, Aurangabad, Shengaon, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Mangaon, Solapur and various places near Pune as Manchar, Baramati, Khed etc. Registration is open for the interested Library and Information Science Professionals and students preparing for the NET/SET examinations.
Workshop Objective: -
To provide proper guidance to the fellow library professionals, in order to prepare them for the SET/NET Examination by the systematic conduction of the theory and objective sessions.

About the Workshop: -
The Workshop is having an academic as well as a social angle. As all of you are aware, the required academic qualification for a college librarian is M.Lib.I.Sc. and must have passed SET/NET. It is observed that after getting the degree of M.Lib.I.Sc. Majority of the professional fellows are not able to pass the SET/NET even after several attempts for so many years. It’s a major hurdle for the professional fellows in building the academic career. This Programme will guide the participants and also give the required theoretical knowledge and the strategies for solving the test papers successfully.
