Vote for the 2022 Book Club selection

We received over 50 book recommendations from MCC students, staff, and faculty. The list has been narrowed down to the top 5 recommended books. Which book do you want to read? Use this form to cast your vote.

This year the MCC Library is partnering with the Counseling Department to host the Thunderbirds Read Book Club in spring 2022. The mental and emotional trauma of the pandemic has taken its toll on everyone; we could all use a little inspiration to reset our thinking to a positive mindset. This year's book club theme focuses on happiness, resilience, self care, and mental well-being.

The winning book will be announced the week of December 6th. Book Club activities will take place in March and April of the spring 2022 semester.

Every book will have its day - Look for a library display of all the recommended books in the spring!
