What is EdRising?
EdRising is a national network of teacher leaders and teacher educators providing quality professional development for a career in education to dedicated aspiring educators.
In Mesa Community College's EdRising club, we have a strong emphasis on networking, community building, and civic engagement. Our award-winning club is a great place for not only education majors, but also for all students with a passion and drive for teaching.
All MCC education majors are EdRising Club members, and participation in meetings and activities are encouraged but not required. Socialize with other education majors, get professional advice from guest speakers on education topics, connect personally with your MCC instructors, and take advantage of great résumé opportunities for service and leadership. Participation in EdRising meetings and events might count for extra credit in education courses – check with your instructor.
