The MCC Student Ambassadors led a discussion about finals, talked about their experiences, and shared some tips for how to be successful. While the meeting is over, you can still view the presentation created by MCC Student Ambassador, Dillon Bradshaw. The semester is almost over-you can do this!

Baking with Shaina & Olivia

Two of the MCC Student Ambassadors, Shaina Strickland and Olivia Kipp filmed some great baking videos to try during the holiday season. If you try one of their recipes, tag us in a photo on Instagram at either @MCCStudentLife or @MCCRedMtn. Take a break from the stress of preparing for finals and prepare a festive treat for your family or friends.

Great job to our chefs! These treats all look delicious.

The recipes included on their You Tube baking playlist are: Pumpkin Pie In A Jar, Sugar Cookie Truffles, Special K Treats, Peanut Butter Bars, and Peppermint Bark. Which is your favorite?

What are you GRATEFUL for right now?

What has helped you get through this Fall 2020 semester? Was it a favorite TV show you binged when you needed a break, a new hobby or exercise routine that kept you going? Is there a certain person who has helped you out? We all have things we are grateful for. Let's celebrate those things! Add to our MCC Gratitude Board! Click the pink plus sign at the bottom of the Gratitude Board below (or click here), and add your own thoughts. Let's fill the wall! You can add photos, videos, text, links, and you can "LOVE" other people's posts to show your support.

What can you do to stay calm and relax during stressful times?

*Tip: turn on the Tropical Reef video and the Waikiki Beach Meditation video at the same time (with their audio), close your eyes and relax. If you try hard enough, you might be able to imagine you're on a beach somewhere.

Online Jigsaw Puzzles or do a puzzle at home!

Go for a hike! See a list of great trails in Mesa.

Take a break with some online games!

Read some books! There are free e-books here.
