Who Can Play?
Can you play? Oh, yes you can!
With a group, a troop, or a solo plan.
Bring Thing 1 and Thing 2, and your favorite friend,
Bring a neighbor or more for the hunt to the end.
If you’re part of our Merton School crew,
Then this whimsical quest was built just for you!
How to Play
On Friday, May 22nd, don’t stay in your bed!
There’s no school today, so head out instead!
With no books and no desks and no pencils in sight,
Hop on this website to start the quest right.
The clock starts to tick as the morning sun rises,
Join the hunt and win some great prizes!
Now hit the street with your eyes open wide,
To find where those Mustangs are trying to hide!
In a pot, on a stick, they are mounted with pride,
It's blue and it's white, with a secret inside.
They might be in plain sight for all folks to see,
Or tucked in the shade of a bush or a tree.
In Merton or near it—just look all around,
Search high in the air! Search low on the ground!
Found One? Hooray!
When a Mustang you find, don’t walk away.
There’s a Secret Code there—it has something to say!
Scan the QR or use the form on this site,
Type in your name and your code with delight.
One is quite fun, but there’s plenty more!
There are ten hidden Mustangs for you to explore.
Find them all, one by one, through the thick and the thin,
Then wait for the news... will you get the win?
The Final Clock Tick
The hunt doesn’t stop for the wind or the rain,
Not for clouds in the sky or a slow-moving train!
Through the sun and the mist, you must keep up the pace,
As you search every corner and each hiding place.
But listen! Be nimble! Be quick as can be!
For the end is approaching, as you will soon see.
When the clock strikes midnight to finish the run,
On the night of Sunday, May 31,
The Mustangs will vanish! The searching is done!
So go forth, dear Merton, with zest and with zeal,
Go find if those riddles and Mustangs are real!
With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet,
We wish you a quest that is marvelous and sweet!
