Tier 1

~ Students receive high quality instruction in the regular classroom with possible adjustments in standard curriculum, as needed.

~ In our district, students identified as requiring additional support, receive an additional intervention, provided by the classroom teacher.

~ Classroom teachers collaborate with the RTI interventionist to create the Tier 1 intervention plan.

~ Progress is monitored throughout the intervention and reviewed after 10-16 weeks.

~ Decisions about continuing, changing, or ending the intervention are made after data review.
