To Do:

District Protocols:

  • District COVID-19 Homepage

  • Individual student desk shields will be provided upon the request of the parent or student.

  • Face masks must be worn in school for students, staff and visitors when inside the building.

  • Sharing materials will be limited between cohorts, to the extent practicable. Items shared between cohorts will be sanitized.

  • Lunch: All students will be offered lunch this year for free. Other items available for purchase. A calendar of food choices will be emailed when it is available.

    • 1 class will be in line at a time. No visiting other tables.

    • Masks are required while students are not seated.

  • Cohorts: Each class will be its own cohort. If there is a positive COVID case, this could result in the entire cohort needing to quarantine. Contact tracing will be conducted to the maximum extent possible.

  • Social distancing of 3 feet will occur within the classroom to the extent practicable. If a room is not able to maintain this physical distance, additional modifications will be implemented. Examples: physical barriers between desks, and/or having students face the same direction.

Buses: Siblings will sit together. Grade 1 will sit in the front of the bus and exit first.

  • Grade 1 will enter the building by the gymnasium. Grades 2-5 will enter through the front door.

  • All students will exit through the front door.

Parent Drop-Off: Cars will be unloaded beginning at 8:35 am and concluding at 8:50.

  • Please do not arrive early. Please pull in the first lane with our crossing guard.

  • Students will wait outside until the bell rings.

Dismissal/Parent Pick-Up: The bell rings at 3:00. We will begin calling buses around 3:05. Riding the bus is preferred. Parent pick-up will occur from the Basketball Court starting at 3:05.

  • Parents will park in the street and wait in line.

  • Upon completing the ID check, the individual outside will radio the individual inside and the student will be brought out to the parent. *Long lines are a potential outcome of many families choosing parent pick-up rather than busing.

  • If you need to pick your child up, send in a note that morning.

    • Include your child’s name, grade, and teacher & indicate the first and last name of the person who is picking your child up. Each person is required to show identification.
