MERL is a family owned and run business, we were founded in 2022 by the current owner and have been providing training and support to young people for two years.
We search for local people that have a hobby level interest in engineering, yet lack the experience and or qualifications necessary for obtaining an engineering work position
MERL provides first class, classroom-based tuition in the electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical aspects to recruited students, whilst our Clients undertake all hands-on workshop-based training.
MERL pay students whilst we teach and no fees or payments required from students. All Trainees are fully sponsored and we offer students sponsored technical college training, after two full years of service.

You will need to have some sort of engineering capability, even at a hobby level be looking for an opportunity to work in engineering, at a higher level.
Qualified and part qualified applicants are also encouraged to apply for any of our advertised positions.

Entry level vacancies for pipe fitters / assembly workers in Crawley.
We offer:
A very good starting salary
A four and a half day working week (12:00 finish on Fridays)
20 Days holiday + Bank Holidays
Classroom based training in Electronics, Electrical systems and mechanics.
