Hello, learners! I am excited to serve as your Merit America Coach. I will be helping you kick-start your next professional step toward the IT field, in hopes that it gets you closer to a job you love and has growth potential.

In these next 14 short weeks (buckle up, they will fly by!), you and I will work together to ensure that while you're gaining the technical skills needed for an IT career, you're also gaining confidence with various professional skills. I know that you're all coming into this program with strengths and attributes that have served you well, professionally and personally! Together, we'll talk about how to apply these strengths to things like; resume and cover letter writing, LinkedIn, leveraging transferable/soft skills, combatting Imposter Syndrome, and interviewing.

My goal is to not only help you sharpen your skills but also to create a safe space for you to build connections and learn from each other. I'm so glad you're here, and it's an honor to be with you on this journey.
