Merit Commercial Real Estate has been exclusively retained to market for sale the business assets of Taprock Northwest Grill. Taprock is a landmark restaurant business in Southern Oregon, with its flagship location in a stunning custom-built lodge on the banks of the Rogue River in beautiful Grants Pass.  

First opened in the Spring of 2009, the location came into life through an effort led by local Evergreen Federal Bank to create a facility that both celebrates and brings together the tight-knit community of Grants Pass. The business assets of Taprock NW Grill are now being offered for sale on the open market for the first time. 

The asking price includes the fully completed franchise system in addition to all FF&E, branding, resources, and assets of the existing business.

Transaction Guidelines

The business assets, including the full franchise system of Taprock Northwest Grill is being offered on the open market for $2,000,000. Purchasers should rely on their own assumptions for any offers. Merit Commercial Real Estate ("MCRE") will be available to assist prospective purchasers with their review of the offering and answer any questions within their scope of practice. Site tours of the property and tours of the market, for qualified prospective purchasers, can be arranged with MCRE upon request. The Seller and MCRE request that all initial meetings requested by prospective purchasers be arranged and coordinated through MCRE. There is not currently a definitive date for offers to be submitted. When a prospective buyer prepares an offer for Taprock Northwest Grill, such offers should, at a minimum, include the following:

  • Purchase price

  • Sources of capital (equity and debt) for the transaction

  • Buyer's resume including prior operating experience in similar sectors

  • Buyer's due diligence period, extension options, and internal approval process

  • Desired closing date

  • Breakdown of closing expenses to be paid by buyer and seller, if differing from local customs
