About Mrs. Steele
My name is TillieAnn Steele (previously Boliard). I went to Meridian High School and graduated from Meridian in 2016. I am now a fifth-year teacher, having graduated from Millikin University with my BA in Secondary English Education in December 2020. I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was in high school. My high school English teacher and Digital Entrepreneurship teacher both made a huge impact on me and inspired me to create a nurturing and empowering environment for students to come.
I love Yearbook. I was in Yearbook myself when I was in high school, and was even the Editor-in-Chief my senior year. I am very excited to lead these students in creating one of the best yearbooks yet, all while growing and coming together as a team. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the yearbook or would like to purchase a yearbook, please do not hesitate to reach out!
I am excited to continue my journey of being the Drama Club sponsor! We are so excited to bring musicals back to the MHS Drama experience with this year's performance of Little Shop of Horrors in December.
When I'm not teaching or planning/preparing lessons, I love to stay at home with my husband and our fur-babies: Apollo, Athena, and Hades. I enjoy reading, creative writing, and watching a near unhealthy amount of movies/TV.
