I can't believe it is already May! I have had such a wonderful year with your kiddos! Thanks for everything you have done to support them and our classroom this year. Remember to check your student's assignment notebook to find their homework assignments and any other information I might need to tell you.

Assignment Notebooks & Daily Classroom Behavior

Please check your student's assignment notebook each night. They will have their homework written down and each day I will also make a mark based on the student's behavior that day. A smiley, star, or stamp means they had a good day and kept all three chips or only lost 1 or 2 chips. If the student lost 3 chips, I will instead write a note explaining why the student lost chips (ex. not following directions, classroom rules, inappropriate behavior). They will not get a smiley or similar mark if they loose 3 chips.

Loosing 1 chip = Warning Loosing 2 chips = Classroom Consequence Loosing 3 chips = Parent Contact
