Hello! My name is Amber Allison and I am so excited to join the team at Meridian this year! This is my 10th year in education. I began my teaching career as a student teacher right here at MMS, and I am so grateful to be back! I graduated from Millikin University with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics Education. I also have my Master's degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Teaching Mathematics. My husband and I live in the district and have three amazing children. Felicity (6) will be starting 1st grade at MES, Elliott (4) will be in his second year of preschool, and little Emily (1) is creating chaos everywhere she goes. When I am not teaching, I am almost always reading. I usually read between 3-5 books at a time, and between 80-100 books a year! I also create math content part time to help students around the country learn my favorite subject!
