I graduated from Meridian and am excited to be have rejoined the Hawks community as a teacher in 2018. I am entering my twenty-second year of teaching and have spent the first fourteen years of my career at Riverton High School teaching math and engineering.
I obtained a bachelor’s degree from Millikin University in Mathematics/Secondary Education and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield in Teacher Leadership. I completed additional coursework in teaching engineering at both the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and was chosen by the American Vacuum Society to receive equipment and training on pressure systems at their 2017 national conference. I obtained a second master's degree in STEM Leadership from the American College of Education in 2021. I am a patroness member of the Junior Welfare Association of Macon County.
