Dear Parent of a Maloney FBLA Chapter Member,
Mrs. Royce and Ms. Roncaioli want to welcome you, as parents, to the Maloney FBLA chapter and give you some information about the after-school club that your son or daughter has decided to become a member of. Here is a link to the Maloney FBLA website where you can access all information you and your son or daughter may need.
By being a member of this organization, your son or daughter is joining a club with rich history and is America’s largest student-run organization, with over 196,000 members nation-wide and over 70 years of making students into leaders.
Here at Maloney FBLA chapter, our objectives are to help our members develop leadership skills, develop financial and consumer literacy, discuss career planning, prepare you to compete in statewide competitions and participate in community service.
Our members will also compete in competitions ranging from, Video Production, to Web Design, to Marketing, to Business Math, to Public Speaking just to name a few!
Our members will attend virtual Fall and Spring Leadership conferences where they will have access to learn from business professionals and college professors.
In addition, we seek to enrich and improve our world around us. Over the year, we will raise money for a local charity (chapter’s choice) and FBLA’s national charity choice of March of Dimes.
As FBLA is a student-run organization, our members will get the chance to prove and develop their leadership skills by running for a number of offices and committee chairs.
Our meetings will be held once a month.
Please feel free to contact us at any time through Parent Square if you have any questions!
