LMS GSA'S Care Cart
Last year through DonorsChoose we were given the opportunity to provide LMS students with a Care Cart, we will continue this year. This cart has things such as tissues, pads, tampons, chapstick, deodorant, hair-ties, hairbrushes, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The Care Cart is open and meant for every single LMS student to utilize and get anything they may need. You can find it in room 2312 at the end of the 6th-grade hallway.Â
Above is an informational presentation that is entirely student-made. The purpose of this presentation is to give a basic education on queer/LGBTQIA+ topics. Many discriminatory issues we face today are usually due to a lack of knowledge and understanding. As a GSA, we hope to eliminate problems that may be happening to LGBTQIA+ students here at LMS.
Above is an informational one-pager made for teacher/school staff use (though is suitable for anyone). It is a simple, easy-to-navigate resource packed with information. It can be difficult to find information or know how to navigate situations when trying to make everyone in a classroom comfortable. This one-pager is designed to clear up any confusion or discomfort.
