Hello! We are the Mercy Montessori Bee Team and we make honey for our school and the community. The Jr. High students who participate in being on this team will extract honey and provide it to anyone who wants to purchase some. Our school would like to educate everyone around the globe about how we make honey and what we do. “Mercy Montessori beekeeping aims to educate our community about bees, beekeeping, educating the consumer on the importance of honey and stewardship of the environment. Our older students are dedicated to producing honey and hive products while learning about commerce in society through a student-run business. While our younger students try to learn more about the role of a bee and what they will participate in as a Bee Team member in the Jr. High.”- Josie M. Ruther (1st Bee Manager)
