Welcome to the gallery.  There are a collection of weekly photos followed by a video section.

The drive team is testing our some changes in the software.  Renaissance (the robot) collects Notes (orange game pieces) from the Source (human player) and races to the Speaker (at the opposite end of the field).  Once in position Renaissance shots.  In this video Renaissance is being controlled by a human driver.  This robot can also read the April tags (the signs on the speaker) and get itself in position and shoot the Note into the speaker!

When everything goes right!  3/2/24

Testing the "box" Note deployment system.  The note has to hit above the red line.

We started testing without software support.  This presented some challenges because the joystick was operating in reverse.  (push the stick forward the robot went backwards).

The use of April Tags was not used for the first round of testing. 70% accuracy

The software team arrived and made the necessary changes to the drive software.  Now, you push the stick forward and the robot goes forward.

This video demonstrates the use of the April Tag to shot a note into the speaker.  99% accuracy

When Autonomous goes RIGHT!

Initial climbing test for the robot.  The system works but is not in the correct position.  There is some room to move the system forward without interfering with the note acquisition and deployment system.

Moving the climber forward made the difference!  The bumper will now clear the floor.  The climber is as far forward as it can go.

A gear box was created for an FRC Snow Blower throttle.  The gears in the box are plastic.  This gearbox and motor will operate the Bell crank on the robots acquisition/deployment system.   The motor mount was 3D printed, see picture below.
