Non-driving students needs to be signed out from the School Office (off 48th Street entrance).
Friday, August 21 is a special day. Students will come to school in their assigned colors for this fun Mercy Tradition. They will walk down to Schroeder Park (Saddle Creek and Woolworth) for the festivities. The building will be closed at 12pm when the event is over due to PD. Students will not be allowed back in the building after the picnic, so they should plan not to bring their bags or iPads to school this day.
You will see some new faces in the halls of Mercy this year. Join us in saying a prayer for a successful first year as a Monarch!
New this year is the Mercy Managed Device program, where each student will be assigned a school-managed iPad. Students will receive their device on the first day of school (August 10 for Freshman, August 11 for Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors).
Students will have access to a pre-loaded app library that will include the required programs needed for classwork. This does include Notability. Please do not make the app purchase on your own for school purposes.

Every year the student council designs a special shirt that can be worn on the last day of the week with the uniform and we call this the "mission shirt". We call it this because the proceeds from this shirt go towards our school mission. You will learn more about this "Mission" when school starts, but selling these shirts a major fundraiser for this "Mission". The cause we are raising money for this year is a vocational school, called Mercy Wings, in Guyana, primarily for girls, which is run by the Sister of Mercy. There are other shirts that can be worn on the last day of the week, but if you buy this one you can also be helping student council raise money for an important cause. Here is a link to the spirit store and the top, featured item is this year's mission shirt. If you want one of these shirts, please order by August 7th. Parents and family members are welcome to purchase these shirts also!
