Work is especially challenging these days. Volatile world events. Economic uncertainty. Political turmoil. Oh, and AI.
Plus, there's the other stuff we all deal with: Partners and spouses. Children. Friends. Personal finances. Life events. Career.
Going to work doesn't mean you can set all this aside. Sooner or later the challenges add up and have an impact. On performance. On relationships. On health.
Employees are noticing. They are worried. Stressed. Disengaged. According to Gallup surveys (and others), all at historically high levels around the world.
It's really hard to have a thriving business if your people aren't thriving, too.
Option 1: Pretend everything is fine.
Option 2: Hope that "this too shall pass" and suck it up until then.
Option 3: Take steps to build an ecosystem that:
Supports your people
Sustains high performance
Makes the values of your organization more than words on a website, but the real deal for employees.
Mental Health ROI builds on the foundation and reach of Mind Share Partners, a non-profit pioneer in changing the culture of workplace mental health. Our work to create mentally healthy workplaces is based on practices that create three returns on investment:
Financial. Across major studies, financial ROI ranges from 4:1 to 10:1. There are additional returns in lower health care costs, lower absence rates, and greater retention.
Company values. The knowledge and skills that support workplace mental health are immediate, practical ways to turn abstract company values (Integrity, Teamwork, Trust, etc.) into real and meaningful employee experiences.
A thriving culture. We spend a large and important part of our lives at work. Why not help leaders, managers, and employees grow and thrive in that time? It’s the right thing to do--both for people and the long-term success of the business.
We work with organizations in three ways:
Consulting and Advising. Tailored strategies to create an ecosystem supporting mental health so employees and the organization thrive together.
Training. Interactive sessions with practical information and tools designed to give manager and employees what they need to support mental health and performance at work.
Coaching. Working with leaders to share their own story about mental health, a key step in shaping a culture where talking about mental health is a normal part of work.
