Live scan criminal background check clearance is required for all Level B Volunteers. Fingerprints are cleared with the Department of Justice and the FBI. Fingerprints will not be used for any other purpose than to verify volunteers are safe to work with students. Menifee Union School District does not provide fingerprints to any other agency. As long as your status does not change (you are not convicted of new crimes which would prevent you from working with children) you do not need to be fingerprinted again. 

FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE USUALLY TAKES 4-6 WEEKS FOR PROCESSING. PLEASE NOTE, PROCESSING CAN BE DELAYED BASED ON FINGERPRINT REPORT DELAYS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE.

After fingerprinting, you must take the completed Livescan form to the Menifee

Union School District, Personnel Office, by 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The Personnel Department will not be able to track your fingerprint status without a copy of your completed livescan form.
