Q - Do I need to purchase an instrument for my student?

A - There are two options available:

1 - Local music stores offer both rental programs and rent-to-own programs in which a portion of the rental cost is applied to the purchase price if you decide to purchase an instrument. Store details are listed on the Instrument Resources page.

2 - There are a limited number of instruments that can be loaned to students for the year. See Mr. Barnett for more information.

Perhaps you have a family member, relative, or a friend who played an instrument in the past, who would loan their instrument to your student!!

Q - What responsibility do I take on if my student uses a school-owned instrument?

A - You are responsible for its care and for its repair, if needed.

Q - When will band instrument instruction begin?

A - Mr. Barnett will let you know when to bring your instrument. Don't worry!
