// About
I love animals and have had many pets over the years and currently have a dog (Archie) with my fiancé. Please ask to see a picture of Archie, I will be more than happy to share! We love to go on hikes, camping, and other adventures and just did a road trip across the country; coast to coast, this summer. I love Halloween and am known amongst my family and friends as the person who will dress up and decorate and will plan a party and make fun creative treats. I also love reading fiction adventure fairy tales, watching mystery shows and Anime, playing board games and video games, and doing yoga.
// Counseling Concept
Elementary is a crucial time where students develop personally and academically; developing decision-making, communication, and life skills, as well as character values, academic self-concept and feelings of competence and confidence. I am here to help students develop these skills, strategies, and habits that help them in all areas of life. I believe that all children can succeed and can benefit from social, emotional, and academic support as well as talks about college and careers.
I aim to create and provide a space where student feel comfortable asking for help and practicing new attitudes and skills across academic, social/emotional, and college and career domains which students need to achieve their fullest potential. I am a strong believer in collaboration; many heads, hands, and hearts get the job done better than only one set. I will work with parents, teachers, administration, and staff to identify student challenges and effective interventions unique to each individual.
I look forward to working with our students. Please do not hesitate to contact me, I am always here to help.
