Your MCSD student will be provided with his/her own Chromebook for use throughout the school year. A Chromebook is a laptop that runs the Google Chrome Operating System. Although MCSD still emphasizes the importance of hands-on instruction, we also understand that in order to be successful in the 21st century, students must be proficient in their use of technology and should be able to show their learning and ideas in innovative ways. When used in the right way, technology can help make teaching and learning more meaningful and fun.

Have Your Chromebook Read to You
Installing the extensions below can allow your child to hear the content of a web-page, document, etc read aloud. When installed, extensions add small icons to the right of the address field in the browser. These icons can be clicked on or right-clicked to access the functionality of the extension.
