Original MAA founder and landowner where the Middy Museum and 34 BG Exhibition proudly stand today, preserving history on his property for future generations.

Don is a retired US Air Force pilot living in the UK and is passionate about uncovering the history of the 34th Bomb Group.  He wants to honour the bravery and sacrifice of its airmen by sharing their heroic stories with others.

Phil stepped down from his role as Chair shortly before his passing in October 2025.  Greatly missed, Phil’s humour and patience kept the group grounded, even when the rest of us were anything but. Our tribute to Phil.

Educator and passionate about 34 BG, Keith enthusiastically shares his knowledge with anyone curious about the group’s legacy.

Mark is committed to supporting the Association, including the creation of AV resources to honour the duty and sacrifice of the 34th Bomb Group to share their stories and legacy.

Lorraine and Anne are passionate about preserving the legacy of the 34th Bomb Group. Their exceptional skill in designing and curating physical displays brings the group’s history to life, ensuring its stories are remembered and honoured.

If it’s 34 BG-related, Steve knows its origin, story and sometimes even its original owner.

Ollie’s passion for military aviation history shines through his extensive research.  He offers valuable insights into the bravery and vital contributions of the 34th Bomb Group during WWII, inspiring others to learn.

Son of the 34th Bomb Group’s wartime photo chief, John is a photographer and historian who has spent over two decades preserving and honoring the legacy of the men of the 34th.
