Dear Mendham Parents,
My name is Mrs. Smyth and I have been a teacher for 24 years. This will be my 21st year teaching in the Mendham Township School District. I have 3 children and 2 dogs that keep me very busy. I live in Mount Olive so I'm not to far away. I am excited to be the school’s STEM teacher. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. I have created many challenges this year that will require students to use their math, science, and communication skills to design a solution to a problem. STEM challenges are both fun and highly educational requiring higher level of thinking.
