English Department Summer Reading

Statement on Summer Reading:  Families and Caregivers should review the titles listed at each grade level and make a selection in collaboration with your student in order to make the best choice for your student/family. 

All students in grades 9-12  will read two books this summer. 

• Book 1: Students will select and read one book from the grade-level book list below and complete this Google form upon completion. Students are encouraged to take notes.  Upon the return to school, students will engage in a learning experience in ELA classes using this book.      

• Book 2: All students in grades 9-12 will select and read at least one choice book and complete this Google form upon completion. The choice book can be any book of interest.
