Statement on Summer Reading: Families/Caregivers should review the titles listed at each grade level with your student(s) and collaboratively select books that are the best choice for your student/family.
All students in grades 9-12 will read two books this summer.
Book 1: Students will select one book from the Grade Level Book List. Students are encouraged to take notes/annotate while they read and must complete this Google form when they finish the book.
Book 2: All students in grades 9-12 will read at least one Choice Book and complete this Google form upon completion. The choice book can be any book of interest.
Please note:
All students are expected to submit the Google Form for both books before the start of the school year. In addition, all students will engage in a learning experience in ELA class (formative assessment) with the required and choice book.
