Grade 2 guest speaker

Students in Grade 2 had Ms Mary come to work with them learning from her about using their bodies and actions to help them with memory and learning.

Grade 3 guest visitor

Grade 3 had a visit from Dean Wilkin and Kaymak. Kaymak is going to shortly be in training to become a seeing-eye dog. She will be only the fifth dog for the blind in Turkey. Dean's family are looking after Kaymak to help her become used to lots of people and to learn to socialise appropriately. The class loved having her visit.

SS College Prep Club

The CP Club was fortunate to welcome 2018 Alumni Mohammed Helwa for a Q & A Session about the realities of 'university life' focusing on how academics change from one learning arena to the next.

Primary School student council assembly

Our primary student council ran an excellent assembly where they shared a book they had written about good touch vs bad touch and a skit about how to treat our friends kindly and look out for each other. Grade 2 danced for us and we sang together.

Genius Hour Club

One of our Grade 2 students is inquiring into how to make a table. During clubs this group meet and are investigating things of interest to them with the support of the teacher. Here you can see him reading the plans and using tools and resources to make his table.
