Another 'successful day' ....... so thanks to eveyone involved and the 'Gala supporters'!!
It turned out to be another 'successful day' despite our unpredictable English Summer weather with only a slight smattering of drizzle and wind proving the biggest problem meaning no Bouncy Castle.
It is truly amazing to see how many people from the very young to the very old enjoy and participate in our annual Gala. Volunteer helpers and the organisers start early morning and work through until all the chairs, tables and equipment have been tidied away and the floors swept by early evening.
The Planning Team, Trustees and Helpers started weeks ago spending more and more time organising who is coming, where they go and ensuring that the gardens are spick and span and the building is looking it's best.
For the public it's all about the time the Gala is on - but others work all year for it to happen.
So thanks to all the Charities, Groups, Sports Arrangers, Stallholders, volunteers and helpers - and
YOU - the people who come and help make our Gala a success each year.
Thanks to the Gala Planning Team and the Trustees who will now be planning for Gala 2024
