About Mrs. Roche

Hey everyone!

My name is Mrs. Roche (previously Miss Schaejbe) and I am going to be your 4th grade homeroom teacher this year! I will be teaching you Math and Social Studies. Your switch teacher will be Miss Ryan. She will teach you Reading and Writing!

We will have plenty of time to get to know each other, but I wanted to tell you a little about myself! I grew up in Salem, MA with my mom (Mary), dad (Eddie), older sister (Amanda), and little brother (Wesley). Salem always does a big Halloween and it is one of my favorite holidays! We love to dress up every year and plan our costumes out pretty far in advance. I have a big Italian/Irish family and we try to get together for cookouts and pool days as much as we can. I have a niece (Charlotte aka Charlie) and a nephew (Owen) who are the best and get spoiled by their auntie :)

Right now I am living in North Falmouth, MA with my husband, Max while we look for a new house. We have a crazy dog named Tito who you will hear about A LOT! He always provides me with interesting stories and funny pictures and videos that you will definitely see pretty frequently this year. Some of my hobbies include going to the beach, spending time with my family and friends, taking Tito on hikes, snowboarding, and shopping! I also love traveling to new places and trying new restaurants. My favorite trip I've been on was to Italy. We saw so many beautiful things and had the best pizza and pasta ever!!

This is my fifth year here in Medway, but this will be my 8th year teaching fourth grade! I really enjoy teaching this grade, and I learn new things every year from each class of students I work with. I ask that you come to class with an open mind, a positive attitude, and some excitement as we begin this new year together. I can't wait to meet you!
