About the Teacher

Welcome to Room 115!

    My name is Krystn Hickman, and  this will be my 23rd year at the Burke Memorial School. I live in Hopkinton with my husband, Bruce or "Mr. Hickman" as the children will often hear, and our twelve year old son,  Bobby.  When I am not teaching, I love being with family or friends. 

A brief background about my teaching and work experience…

For one year, I attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point New York, and I graduated from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. After working for about ten years at Massport and in the investment field, I decided to go back to school for teaching. Framingham State University is where I earned my teaching license, and I completed my student teaching at Memorial School with Mrs. Downing, who now teaches at the Middle School. A few years later, I completed my graduate studies through Fitchburg State University.
