We started the day with 6-7 Morning work then our morning meeting activity was doing a 67 second challenge. During Flex time and some of social studies, we got to pick some 67 centers: Roll to make 67, 6-7 things all about me and What have you learned in 67 days crown!

October Bulletin Board 

We have been learning about fact families so we created our own fact family pumpkins to display on our hallway bulletin board for October!

Flex Centers at a Glance

Each week we have four centers (2 math centers and 2 phonics based centers). We do a mix of collaborative and independent and Mrs. Graham is a center! We practiced doubles plus one, reading magic e word, subtraction facts and phonics/handwriting activity.

We had a Make-A-ten center, Magic E game center, a handwriting: phonics dictation center at our centers and a doubles plus 1 game at the carpet!

Book Tasting!

We put on some lovely music and tried three courses of our book "meal." Our job was to taste three books from three different genres. We rated them with a I love it! It's ok or yuck! While we were "tasting" our books we also found our just right books. If we don't know 2-3 words on a page, it's just right for us!!
