ReturnING Chromebooks and Chargers

Senior Chromebooks can be dropped off at the I.T. office room 031-2, by the cafeteria, during the allotted time frames listed below.

May 20th  1:30pm - 3:00pm

May 21st  11:45am - 12:45pm

May 22nd 11:45am - 12:45pm

May 23rd  11:45am - 12:45pm

May 24th  9:45am - 10:45am

May 28th 8am - 9am


When returning your Chromebook and its charger please be sure that any personal stickers or markings on the device other than the school-supplied labels with your name are removed. Units are expected to be in full working condition when returned. 

 

When dropping off your Chromebook and charger please have them ready and out for inspection by one of the I.T. staff members. 

 

If it is found that the device is non-functional or has significant damage (Broken Screen, Missing Keys, Etc.) you may be held liable for the repairs unless you have purchased insurance for the device.

 

The potential cost to you if one or more parts are found to be broken or missing on your assigned Chromebook:

 

Entire Chromebook: *$360 (we accept replacement models of identical specification)

Charger: $20.00

Screen: $150.00

Keyboard: $11.00

Top Cover: $12.00

Bottom Cover: $13.00


* In the event the school-issued device is damaged beyond repair, we will accept replacement units of similar or greater specification. To identify the unit type, please review the service tab at the bottom of the unit. Typically this is an Acer Model R11, R721T, or R752T, touchscreen device. Families may find full replacement units online that are cheaper than the Medway Public Schools full system replacement cost.
