As a class, we came up with a list of classroom rules for all students and teachers to follow when they are in room 126. We talked about how it is important to have rules to keep us safe, feel respected, and create a calm classroom environment where everyone can succeed. We also read What If Everybody Did That? by Ellen Javernick for inspiration. Please see the list below for our finalized classroom rules.

Fourth Grade Homework Policy
Homework expectations are the same across the entire fourth grade. Please see below for more information broken down by time and subject area.
ELA:
From September to November, students will read at least 20-30 minutes per night. Each will students will receive a reading log where they will account for their reading at home. Required minutes will increase to at least 30 minutes starting in December along with some comprehension questions based on what students are reading.
Math:
Students will be assigned one worksheet per night Monday-Thursday pertaining to the current skills being practiced in the classroom. Additionally, students are encouraged to practice their multiplication fact fluency through 12 times 12 and division fact fluency through 144 divided by 12.
*Math resource sheets, Ready Classroom Family letters, and video tutorials will be available on Google Classroom for students to access at home. Thank you for all you do to support your child at home!
