Mini Mustang Band FAQ's

1. Who can sign up? How do I sign up?

   • Current 5th and 6th grade students who play in the band are welcome to join. You can sign up using the GOOGLE FORM linked here and found below. Sign up's are due by Friday, February 13th.

2. When are rehearsals? 

   • We will rehearse two days a week (usually Tuesday/ Thursday, but there are some other days scheduled to work around our district concert schedule) . Click to check out our CALENDAR.

3. Where are rehearsals?

   • We will rehearse in the Wise band room and the adjacent parking lot. Please wear sneakers to each rehearsal since we will be outside marching when the weather allows!

4. When & where will our performance be? 

   • Our performance will be at the Medina Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2026. More details about the meeting location and time will be shared as we get closer. You must be available for the parade in order to participate. 

5. What will we wear for our parade performance? 

   • All marching band members must wear the Mini Mustang Marching Band t-shirt, black bottoms (shorts or leggings recommended) and sneakers for the parade. T-shirts will cost $10. Cash will be collected during the first week of rehearsals by a Medina Mustang Band Booster. If you need financial support to get a t-shirt, we can help- but please let us know right away!

6. Who do I contact if I have more questions? 

   • Mrs. Andrea Busch (music teacher at Oak Orchard) and Mrs. Kyla Leno- Denise (band director at Medina Jr/Sr HS) will be directing the Mini Mustang Band. You can email us at abusch@medinacsd.org and kleno@medinacsd.org. A ParentSquare group will be set up once all sign up's are received.
