Meet the Teacher

Hello, My name is Rachael Rutledge and I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach in the Medina Central School District. I have taught in the district since 2005 and at the high school since 2009. I have my undergraduate degree from Buffalo State College in Exceptional Education and my Masters in Education from Brenau University.

I am currently teaching the Student to Adult Vocational Instruction 2 (SAVI 2) program at the High School, which focuses on transition planning and work-based learning, as well as mathematics, ELA, Science, and Social Studies. I also provide support in 8th grade Social Studies this year. I am an advisor for the IMPACT club, a service-focused club that works to improve our school and community.

I live here in the village of Medina with my three children, dog, and two cats. We enjoy spending time outside hiking, taking walks, and playing in the backyard. We also love to travel and spend time with our extended family.
