Hi! My name is Amanda Flugel. I am the Art teacher at Oak Orchard Primary School.
My goal is to help students become artists, critical thinkers, decision makers, and creators. Students will learn new skills, grow as artists, and have fun.

MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. STUDENT ART EXHIBITION
The New York State Education Department sponsored an online exhibit in recognition of the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They honored Dr. King's memory by inviting schools across the state to submit art that reflects Dr. Kings teaching. Oak Orchard's first and second graders participated in the art exhibition.

Art at Oak Orchard Primary School focuses on NYS standards based Art lessons while learning the foundations of Art through the elements and principles of design.
Ms. Flugel and student artists are collaborating with the town hall to display student art work each month.
