I have lived in Western New York my entire life. I was born in Youngstown, NY. I attended Lewiston Porter Central School District. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo. I earned a Master of Science degree in Secondary Education from Niagara University. I hold certifications from New York State as a teacher of Biology 7-12, and Family and Consumer Science K-12.

Today, I live near Medina with my husband and two children. I enjoy reading, gardening, and outdoor adventures. We raise poultry and rabbits, and have dogs and cats.
