Welcome 8th grade Math students.  I am Mr. Kearney and I will be teaching Math 8 this year.  I grew up south of Medina in the city of Wooster(Well, just outside of Wooster if you want to be technical about it).  I graduated from Ashland University, and then later, received my Master's Degree from the University of Akron.  I am married and have three kids that are in 4th, and 5th grade at Garfield Elementary, and one in 6th grade at Claggett  I have two dogs, and live just south of town.  In my free time, I enjoy doing anything outdoors.  I like to hike, bike, camp, fish, etc.  I have coached football and wrestling here at Medina. My favorite music genre is 80s rock, and my favorite song is Separate Ways/Worlds Apart by Journey. I look forward to getting to know you more this year!

Hello Algebra and Geometry Students! My name is Mr. Chapman and this is my 22nd year of teaching (I know...I'm old right). I have spent my entire career teaching in the Medina City Schools and of those, 20 have been spent teaching math. I am married to a teacher (not in this district) and have 2 children ages 12 and 14. I have one four legged child, Finn, who is a Medium Sized Goldendoodle. While I am not teaching school, I enjoy hanging with my family and friends, coaching wrestling, working out, and being outdoors camping and hunting.
