Hello Students!
Welcome to 8th Grade! I am honored to teach for the Medina City School District and look forward to getting to know each and every one of you this year. I have a long history with Medina City Schools. I graduated from the high school in 1982, and all three of my daughters and son in law are also Medina graduates. In addition, I have five grandchildren who also attend Medina City Schools. We are proud to be a dedicated Medina Bee family.
At the start of this year, I will begin my 16th year of teaching. I earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Akron in Middle Level Education, and a Master's Degree from Ashland University in Curriculum and Instruction. Obtaining a degree in education was a dream I fulfilled through hard work, sacrifice, and a positive attitude. I strongly believe that hard work, and a good quality education is the key to success, and Medina City Schools is a district that can help you meet whatever goals you have for your future.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, music, camping, traveling, completing home improvement projects, hiking, playing the guitar, and spending time with my family.
I look forward to a great year!
Sincerely,
Ms. Mahoney
